Welcome to UUCH!

Thank you for your interest in our congregation. Our weekly worship service begins at 10:30 am each Sunday from September to June. We adopt a more relaxed schedule in the summer months. We hope you will join us after the service for coffee hour in the Murray Room, which is adjacent to the sanctuary. We are a warm and welcoming congregation, and look forward to getting to know you.

Some things you might want to know about us:
We're located at the intersection of Main Street (Route 125) and Kenoza Avenue (Route 110) in Haverhill, also known as Monument Square. You’ll find parking spaces in front of the church building on Kenoza Avenue, or you can park in our lot, which is located diagonally across the street from the church building at the rear entrance on Ashland Street. Our rear entrance on Ashland Street is wheelchair accessible, and there are two designated parking spaces by the rear entrance.

Dress at our church tends toward the informal. Please come as you are—we think you will be comfortable here whether you are wearing jeans or something more dressy.

We are a Welcoming Congregation. This means we fully welcome LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) folk into the life and leadership of the congregation.

Our Religious Education program for children and youth meets during the Sunday worship service. Most Sundays children begin church with their families in the sanctuary and leave with their teachers after the Time for All Ages. Nursery care is available. If you have questions about the Religious Education program, please contact Sally Liebermann, our Director of Religious Education.

We hold membership exploration classes at regular intervals, which are open to all without obligation. This three-session class, which we call UU 101, is led by our minister, Rev. Frank Clarkson, and is a good chance to learn more about our UU tradition and meet other great people.

You can find more information about Unitarian Universalism, as well copies of recent sermons, in the pamphlet racks in the Murray Room, where we gather for coffee hour. We'd be happy to send you our monthly newsletter, The Communicator, and add you to our E-News list. Please e-mail Church Administrator Shannon Croteau: office@uuhaverhill.org
